The Capacity for Equity and Success (C4ES) was originally a legacy project championed by the Honorable Keith Carson and the Board of Supervisors as a community response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The program is now a fiscally sponsored project by the Philanthropic Ventures Fund, facilitated and staffed by Exceptional Community Connections, LLC.  C4ES will provide technical assistance and capacity-building support for community-based service providers serving children, youth, and families in the West Oakland community (zip codes 94607, 94608, and 94612).  

The goal is to increase the capacity of small and emerging non-profit organizations within Oakland and provide them the opportunity to expand their impact in the community.
